Final Cut Pro or Premier

Hi

Can anyone tell me the differences between these.
I know Premier very well, but have never even seen FCP.
Without getting into some rant about PC's and MACS can anyone tell me which is better and why?

I don't know Premiere but I know FCP.so I couldn't tell you.
But as far as I know FCP is like a combination of AfterEffects and Premiere.

I prefer final cut. Final cut 3 has got some very nice colour correction stuff. Probbably not much in it, but I find premier clunkier. it also looks awful which maybe superficial, but hey! I first learned final cut so I guess i'm happier with that. Each to their own. Final Cut has got a few more filters I reckon.

I believe that premiere has better sound support(?). I dont really know. I am getting to gripps with prem, and am finding it quite easy, but it can be tempormental. I have never used final cut, but have heard good things about it. Its probably about preferance.

all i can tell you is that i have nothing but trouble with fcp.i would stay away from it, and it's expencive,the full version is about 900 bucks american.
